Sony is known t have one of the best mirrorless cameras in the market. They have been able to build a verty small and compact camera that can still deliver the same quality as other dslr cameras. The advantage of these cameras is that they are mirrorless, meaning that it doesn't have a reflex mirror, which what enables us to see trough the view finder of camera. Instead, most of Sony's cameras are able to send the image from the image sensor directly to the view finder or the LCD screen of the camera. This enables the user to see exactly how the picutre will come out even before they take it. The disadvantage is that these cameras don't have a really good autofocus system which means that it won't be that great at taking videos. Also, Sony's cameras tend to be more expensive then many other brands. Canon is known to have the best all around cameras in the market. Altough Canon and Nikon can deliver almost the same quality of pictures, Canon is known to have the best to color settings, for amatuer people, this means that they will be able to take great pictures without having to learn about color correcting.Where Canon really sets itself apart from otehr brands is in the video capabilities. Canon have been able to come out with a dual autofocus system, meaning that most of their cameras wil be able to keep track of a subject when shooting a video without a problem. Nikon and Canon have very similar photo qualities, Nikon is known to have a more complicated but also more customizable menu. Also, Nikon don't release as many camera models which also means that it is easier to find older models for cheaper prices while still delivering decent quality pictures.
