Lenses are just as important as your camera. More than anyrthing a good lense is more important than the actual camera itself. Again just like the cameras, different lenses will fullfill specific needs. A professional sports photographer won't be using the same lenses as a portrait photographer. Meanwhile, amatuers will also need different lens.
